KEFRI Bids Farewell to Outgoing Board of Directors
KEFRI Board of Directors bade farewell to their counterparts with whom they served in the 9th Board during a luncheon hosted at the Institute’s Headquarters in Muguga. The outgoing Board Directors Dr. Ben Chikamai, Dr. Abudallahi Jillo, Mr. Emilio Mugo and Mr. Hewson Kabugi received accolades for their commitment to the growth of the Institute and their continued support towards attainment of the core mandate as a centre of excellence in forestry research. The outgoing Board Directors received handmade Bamboo clocks from the National Forest Products Research Program (NFRP), Karura to symbolize continuity of time and life. In addition, they were also gifted with animal figurines illustrating their various personality traits as depicted through their tenure.
