Corporate Affairs and Public Relations

  The Corporate Affairs and Public Relations office handles issues of;
  public relations, KEFRI publicity profile, customer satisfaction,
  consultancy services, intellectual property, work environment and
  KEFRI Environmental Management System certification.
  Through this unit, the Institute attained ISO 14001: 2004 EMS in June
  2011.

  Corporate Affairs and Public Relations Office keeps the Institute's
  profile high in the public domain, through the following
  activities:

        * Conducting public awareness events that include tree planting
          events and ASK shows.

         * Coordinating the production of media features, and presentations in radio and TV.

         * Production of quarterly newsletter, annual reports and related publicity materials.

         * Conducting annual customer satisfaction surveys.

         * Development and implementation of a flexible corporate social responsibility (CSR) programme.

         * Coordination of KEFRI consultancy services in forestry and allied natural resources for forestry development nationally and internationally.
